
Our 2023 books are and are ready to be handed out. All junior high and high school students will get their books at our signing party during 7th period on Wednesday. Elementary books will be handed out that morning. The 2023 staff did an AMAZING job on these books! A BIG THANK YOU to all of you who worked on this book.

The Burton High School Panthers continued their cross country season this Saturday with a trip to Davidson Creek Park in Caldwell.
The Lady Panthers took the course first. When the dust had settled, they walked away with two medals and a 3rd place team finish, losing a tie breaker to Mumford, their district rivals. Top finishers for the Lady Panthers were Junior Peyton Sigsbee, 1st overall, with a personal best 12:40 and Junior Avery Applewhite, 4th overall, also with a personal best of 14:32.
The Burton High Panthers ran the second race, also 2 miles. The boys also finished 3rd overall. Top finishers were Senior Hunter Hancock, 4th overall and 11:08, and Sophomore Devlin Douglas, 5th overall and 11:10.
The Panthers are off next week before heading to Magnolia's "Dog Pound" Invitational at Magnolia High School on Saturday, September 9th.

Don't forget to turn in your volleyball shirt order forms and your little sister sign-up forms!!! These need to be turned in by FRIDAY, August 25th!!
