Your Burton Panther Cheerleaders had huge success at their UCA Camp this summer. They came home with many accolades including the top trophy...the Banana! This honor is given to the most energetic, spirited, and respectful cheer team. It signifies a team that goes above and beyond with a positive attitude, hard work, and kindness to other teams and UCA staff. Only one team can bring the banana home and your cheerleaders accomplished that! The team also brought home seven UCA All-Americans, a Pin-it-Forward recipient, jump off champion, and more. They have been working hard to prepare for the upcoming football and competition seasons and are so excited to welcome everyone back at Meet the Panthers!

The Burton ISD Substitute Teacher Training Day is almost here!
This mandatory training is required for all substitute teachers planning to work during the 2026–2027 school year.
This notice is to inform you of an important change regarding student meals beginning the 2026-2027 School Year. Due to federal guidelines Burton ISD will no longer be able to offer free breakfast and lunch to the students. Students must qualify for free or reduced meals based on federal eligibility guidelines. Those students who are directly certified from the state will automatically qualify for free meals with no action needed. Parents will be mailed a notification letter July 20th if your student(s) automatically qualify for free meals.

Burton ISD hosted Chilling with Champions on Monday night. The community was invited to honor students for advancing to the state level and beyond in both academic and athletic competitions. Students and coaches from elementary, junior, and senior Beta, FFA, Baseball, Cheer, Academic UIL, and Track were all recognized.
Due to the weather, tonight’s Chillin’ with Champions celebration has been moved to the Burton ISD Cafeteria.

Please note that there will be NO PARKING directly outside the cafeteria due to ongoing construction.
Visitors may park in any of the highlighted yellow parking areas shown on the map and walk to the back cafeteria entrance.
