Burton ISD was honored to welcome Representative Trey Wharton as he presented a special resolution recognizing the Panthers Baseball Team for capturing the 2026 University Interscholastic League (UIL) 2A Division II State Championship.
Representative Wharton congratulated the team on its outstanding accomplishment and commended the student-athletes, coaches, and supporters for their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. He also shared inspiring words of encouragement, praising Burton ISD for its continued dedication to academic achievement, athletic excellence, and developing future leaders.
