The Burton Panthers continued their season with a trip this Saturday, January 10th to the Taylor Duck Invitational.
Once again leading the way for the Panthers was Senior, and four-year veteran, Hunter Duffy, who finished 4th Place in the 165 class with a tremendous 1100 total. Following him were Sophomores Andrew Gonzales and Zach Purvis. Purvis held onto 2nd in the 123 class with a 760 total, while Gonzales emerged with 1st in the 132 class after an 830 total. Freshman Even Guerrero also claimed 4th in the 132 class with a 630 total. Tyler Ramirez,
Ray Bozarth, Ayden Vogl, and Brandon Strickland all set personal records on the day.
The Panthers return to the morning grind next week before traveling to Brenham for the first of two meets on Monday, January 26th. Lifting to start at 4 pm.
