Returning Student Registration
Begins May 1, 2024
New to Burton ISD Student Registration
Please gather the following documentation for the Parent Portal portion as you will need to submit them online in one of the following formats, .pdf, .txt, .doc, .docx, .pps, .pptx, .xls, .xlsx, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, or .png
We HIGHLY recommend taking pictures of the documents with your phone to make the submission process easier.
student’s birth certificate*
proof of residency (Required for non-transfer students: electric bill with name and 911 address or rental/lease agreement)*
If you do not have proof of residency you will need to have this form notarized before completing registration paperwork.
driver's license or state ID of the person enrolling the student (parent/guardian)*
student's social security card*
student’s updated shot record
verification of Household income (required only if applying for free Pre-K)
foster or CPS documents (required only if applying for free Pre-K)
military documentation (required if applicable)
If transfers, report card (K-7) OR transcript (7-12)
*Required to begin registration
You only need one parent portal ID to register all children. If you are registering your second child, after logging back in to the portal, click the person in the upper right corner & select My Account. You can then enroll another student.
