I was born on Nov. 4th, 1972 in McLennan County. I was raised in the small community of Crawford, TX. I attended Crawford ISD from kindergarten to graduation. After high school I enrolled at Tarleton State University in Stephenville. (The better part of the Texas A&M University system.) I participated in Football my freshman year and realized that there was not much need for a 6 foot 255 lb. player with 5.0 speed. I always knew that I wanted to be a coach so I concentrated on that.
My first coaching job was in Marlin, TX. That is where I met my wife, Lisa. After 2 years in Marlin, my wife and I were offered jobs in Bremond, TX. I spent 8 years in Bremond coaching everything from Head Baseball Coach to Head Track Coach to being the Offensive Coordinator in Football.
Lisa now teaches in Bryan, where we live. We have 2 wonderful children, 8 year old Bryce and 6 year old Susannah. Both of them are huge supporters of me. They are always dressing up in my school colors and attending all the activities that they can.
I have truly enjoyed my time in Burton. The people are wonderful and have shown lots of support. It has been a privilege to teach and coach these young men and women. They are well disciplined, respectful, and eager to learn. A coach cannot ask for more.

My name is Jason Hodde and I am the defensive coordinator for the Burton Panther Football Team. I am a graduate of Burton High School and received my Bachelors degree from Texas A&M University. I have an extreme love for High School Football and young people. We have a great group of guys on our team and we strive to be the best on and off the field. Burton High School is a great place to be and I am fortunate to be here. GO PANTHERS!

I was born in July 6, 1975 in Brenham, TX. I attended school at Burton I.S.D. from kindergarten to graduation. After High school I attended college and graduated from Blinn College and Texas A&M University. I then decided that I wanted to pursue a career in teaching and coaching so I majored in Kinesiology/Secondary Education and chose History as a second teaching field.
My first coaching/teaching job was in Somerville, where I was an assistant football, assistant basketball, and Jr.High track coach. After three years in Somerville, I spent four years there as a assistant basketball coach and two years as head basketball coach, as well as coaching everything from cross country to track.
My wife Georgann and I live near Burton. We have two sons, C.J. and Michael. C.J. attends Burton elementary and loves it. They both enjoy coming to games and supporting the Panthers!
I am very excited about coaching in Burton; we receive a great deal of support from the community and have a hard-working group of athletes with outstanding leadership. These young men are enthusiastic, disciplined, and dedicated to each and our coaching staffs. I expect this to help them succeed in sports, in the classroom, and in life.

I attended Waller High School and graduated in 1998. I attended Blinn College then transferred to Sam Houston State University. Before coming to Burton, I coached at Waller High School and our team became Area Champions one of the years I was there.
I joined the Burton staff in 2006, and I am proud to be a Panther. Our coaches are very excited about this season. We have an experienced group of seniors that provide leadership both on the field and in the locker-room. Our underclassmen are hard-working bunch of guys that are dedicated to continuing the success that has been achieved so far.
It is rewarding as a coach to watch these boys grow and mature into young men, to see that all of their hard work pay off, and set an example for our younger athletes.
