Gifted and Talented

Burton Elementary School is now accepting nominatons in grades1-6 for the campus Gifted and Talented Program. Students may be nominated by counselors, teachers, parents and other intereste persons. The program is designed to provide additional challenge and stimulation for gifted student in the areas of intellectual ability and/or creative and critical thinking. Current kindergarten students will be identified during January and February for inclusion in the program in March. Anyone who knows of a student that may qualify for the program may contact Mary Keienburg at Burton Elementary.
